Care Level 4 Revised standards - 8 units -
(4
mandatory and 4 optional) This qualification is suitable for
managers who have no care or management qualifications at this
level. In order to complete Level 4 you must have the
following responsibilities as part of your job role:
- The assessment of new clients and production of care
plans
- Leading team meetings
- Line management responsibility including staff
supervision, appraisal and development, allocation of
duties, rotas and recruitment of staff
- Multi-disciplinary working
- Involvement in decision making process concerning
policies and procedures of the care environment
- The ability to make recommendations, record and monitor
expenditure
This qualification requires that you are able to research
and assimilate information and produce written evidence to
higher education level
Cost Level
4 Care - £950.00 Individual "top up" RMA units, £100.00
per unit We require an initial payment of £500.00 (non
refundable) and then instalments of £100.00 per unit. These costs include
- Registration with an awarding body
- One day Induction training
- Internal Verification
- Final Certification
- Specified Unit workshops
- A Qualified Assessor will be allocated for the duration
of the Award, offering guidance, support, advice on
gathering evidence, collection and assessment
Duration
You will be expected to complete your award within one year.
However, it is possible to complete sooner, it is very much down
to your commitment and time available. Individual units can be
certified.
Support
You will be allocated an assessor who will work with you for
the duration of the award, offering guidance, support and advice
on gathering evidence, collection and assessment. Each unit will
be assessed by an assessor who specialises in that area of work.
It is essential that you have the support of your employer as
you will need to provide work based evidence including
testimonies.
